    Davor Martinović, PhD, was born on November 24, 1968. in Mostar, where he finished elementary school and high school. He graduated from the Faculty of Law in Mostar in 1992 as the best student of his generation and from November 3, 1992. In 2010, he started working as a trainee lawyer in the Joint Law Office of Mirko and Dubravko Grgić in Ljubuški.

    He passed the bar exam on January 19, 1995. years with excellent success.

    In the academic year 1994/95, he was hired as an assistant in the Civil Law course at the Faculty of Law in Mostar. From 01.08.1994. started working in the joint Martinović law office in Mostar until January 1, 2009. when he and his partners founded a law firm - Milas, Martinović and partners based in Ljubuško. From 01.01.2021. The law firm is called Martinović and Partners with headquarters in Mostar.

    At the Faculty of Law in Zenica, after a three-year doctoral study, he defended his doctoral thesis on the topic "The Importance and Role of the Protective Fund for Damage Compensation in Bosnia and Herzegovina" on January 5, 2018. and thus fulfilled all the prescribed conditions for obtaining an academic title and scientific title - doctor of legal sciences.

    In his scientific work so far, he has published two scientific papers, namely "The need for reform of judicial systems in Bosnia and Herzegovina" in the journal for social sciences and humanities Mostarinesia and "Development of insurance in Bosnia and Herzegovina and the region - with a special reference to the beginning of state interventionism in the insurance sector". published in the Croatian Journal of Insurance Zagreb, as well as several professional papers in publications in the field of insurance.

    In his 29-year career as a lawyer, he especially dealt with practical issues in the field of civil and criminal law, with a special focus on tort law.

    Appointed as a member of the HJPC of Bosnia and Herzegovina by decision of the Council of Ministers of Bosnia and Herzegovina at the session held on January 28, 2021. years.

    Married and father of two adult sons.
